Brookside-Frontier Math and Science School
& Frontier School of Innovation:
Evidence of affiliation with the Gulen Movement


Brookside-Frontier Math and Science School (BFMASS, grades 6-11) and Frontier School of Innovation (FSI, grades K-5) are publicly-funded charter schools in Kansas City, Missouri.

While officially these are "stand-alone" schools, in actuality they fall under the auspices of the Cosmos Foundation.  This is in contrast to Gateway Science Academy in St. Louis, Missouri, which is a member of Concept Schools.

Both BFMASS and FSI were partners in an unsuccessful i3 grant application for $29,998,950 submitted to the US Department of Education by the Cosmos Foundation.  The other partner schools were all Gulen charter schools in Cosmos' sector (Lisa Academy, Abramson, Kenilworth, Dove Science Academy, School of Science and Technology). 

The domain names for the school websites bfmass.org and kcfsi.org are privately registered, with bfmass.org registered in Grand Cayman Island.

The charter holder is Millenium [sic] Education Foundation.  In keeping with Gulenist strategic ambiguity, this name is nearly identical (only one letter "n" is missing) to Millennium Education Foundation, a North Carolina charter holder company.  (Gulenists like to choose names that are easily confused with names of existing institutions; another example is North American College.)  It is unclear whether the misspelling of "Millenium" was deliberate.

Brookside-Frontier students have participated in the Turkish Olympiads, a Gulenist event.

The connection of BFMASS and FSI with the Gulen Movement is further shown by the multiple affiliations, both past and present, of the following individuals.
